Netflix on Monday unveiled character posters and stills for 〈Dead-End Job〉 (Dead-End Job), directed by Kim Da-min with Han Jun-hee as executive planner, featuring Lee Jae-wook, Go Min-si, Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-joon.
〈Dead-End Job〉 is an eight-episode, working-to-survive horror series set against the backdrop of the odd staffing agency 'Spider Personnel,' which guarantees daily pay 50 times the hourly wage, as young Hyuk-jun (Lee Jae-wook) is dispatched to a nightmarish job site. Shortcake is producing the series.
The posters and stills highlight the characters' distinct personalities in the mysterious part-time job settings. Lee Jae-wook, who plays Hyuk-jun — a young man crushed by debt who takes a lucrative part-time job — fixes a sharp gaze as he looks back amid a threatening situation. Go Min-si, who plays Yeon-ju, sits in a tearoom casually stirring ssanghwa-tang (a traditional herbal drink), her hollow, inscrutable expression adding to the mystery. Kim Min-ha, as Hyuk-jun's sister and pragmatic realist Ji-yoon, projects steely resolve instead of fear.
Lee Hee-joon plays the mysterious 'Boss' of the suspicious Spider Personnel agency, adding menace as he draws young people in with guarantees of daily pay 50 times the hourly wage.
The Netflix series 〈Dead-End Job〉, starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Min-si, Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-joon, will be released worldwide on Netflix on Friday, Oct. 30.
