From spring's heat to fall: a jazz showcase at Sejong Center

Singer-songwriter 'Baek Ye-rin', known for her distinctive voice, and pianist and producer 'Yun Seok-cheol', a leading figure in South Korea's jazz scene, are preparing a special stage for an autumn night. Concert promoter 'Private Curve' officially announced on the 7th that the two artists will perform together at the 'Sejong Center Grand Theater' in Seoul on the 'Seoul Jazz Festival at the Theater' stage on the 21st of next month.

The newly launched 'Seoul Jazz Festival at the Theater' is the first concert series to extend the powerful brand of the 'Seoul Jazz Festival'—which has thrilled music fans every spring—into the fall season and indoor theaters. By pairing the lively energy of an outdoor festival with the Grand Theater's high-quality acoustics, the series is expected to offer audiences a deeper musical experience.

The two have a deep musical connection. After first performing together at the 'Seoul Jazz Festival' in 2017 and earning praise from critics and audiences, they continued to exchange ideas and collaborate musically while respecting each other's fields.

At this concert, 'Baek Ye-rin' and 'Yun Seok-cheol' will offer fresh interpretations of their signature songs through stylish jazz arrangements. The synergy between the two artists, who move freely across the boundaries of pop and jazz, is expected to reach its peak, resulting in a lyrical and sophisticated performance suited to the fall season.
