ITZY’s Chaeryeong to Make Solo Debut Seven Years After Group Debut With First Mini-Album ‘Lovesick’

Chaeryeong, a member of the group ITZY, is taking her first steps as a solo artist seven years after her debut. Her agency, JYP Entertainment, officially announced on the 19th that Chaeryeong will make her official solo debut with the release of her first mini-album, Lovesick, on the 9th of next month.

Since debuting in the music industry in 2019, Chaeryeong has earned strong support from fans around the world for her signature fluid dance lines and solid live vocals. She is the third member of the group to pursue a solo career, following Yeji and Yuna, who have already made successful solo debuts. The release is expected to give her a platform to showcase her distinctive musical identity and performance style—qualities that group activities have not fully allowed her to reveal.

Her upcoming first mini-album features four tracks, led by the title track of the same name, Lovesick, along with Moonlit Club and Scent. Each track is expected to highlight Chaeryeong’s many charms and more mature vocal abilities, promising a highly polished release.
