SHINee’s Onew is returning to fans with a new musical transformation. His agency, Griffin Entertainment, announced that Onew will release his new single, Delusion, on various online music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 20th. The new release comes seven months after his mini-album Tough Love (TOUGH LOVE), released in March, and offers a glimpse into his increasingly deep musical world.

Unusually, all three tracks—Delusion, Mind Games, and Tic Tac Toe—are being promoted as title tracks. Onew explores subtle differences in emotion through distinct genres and moods, showcasing the full range of his abilities as a singular vocalist.

The lead title track, Delusion, pairs a smooth melodic line with the powerful, rhythmic beats characteristic of UK garage. It delivers a tightly drawn psychological narrative about a speaker who reads meaning into the other person’s small gestures, crosses the line between reality and imagination, and ultimately becomes certain of their feelings.

Along with the release of his new single, Onew will continue connecting directly with fans. He will hold a large-scale solo concert for three days, on the 30th and 31st and November 1, at Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park. The new songs are expected to be performed live for the first time at the shows, bringing anticipation among global fans to a peak.
