Insooni, Baek Z Young and Gong Minzy Unite for ‘Vitality’ Concert ... What’s Behind the Free Tickets?

Some of the biggest names in South Korean pop music are joining forces for the local community. The Shoulder-to-Shoulder Celebrity Volunteer Group announced on the 20th that it will hold the large-scale benefit concert “Vitality” from the 24th to the 25th on a special stage at Korea Tech University in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province.

Top-tier lineup spanning generations brings positive influence to the community

The concert was organized around “talent donations” made voluntarily by popular culture artists. Its aim is to give back to underserved neighbors and significantly expand residents’ opportunities to enjoy culture and the arts. An impressive roster of top vocalists—rarely seen together in one place—will add to the concert’s prestige.

At 4 p.m. on the 24th, an inspiring show themed around “harmony” will take the stage. Top artists including beloved singer Insooni, Baek Z Young, Lee Eun-mi, Yangpa, The One and Kim Jo-han will perform. They’ll be joined by Gong Minzy, Solji, Sungmin, Zoo and Jo Jjajjeu, among others, for a varied set list for audiences of all generations.

Starting at 5 p.m. on the 25th, a lively trot music festival themed around “empathy” will follow. Popular trot stars who have recently dominated television and concert stages—including Shin Yu, Kim Hye-yeon, Na Tae-joo, Choi Su-ho, Bin Ye-seo, Moon Hee-ok and Jung Da-kyung—will take the stage and bring residents unforgettable energy.

On both days of the concert, the 24th and 25th, cultural arts and sports experience programs open to all residents will also run around the Korea Tech University campus, adding to the festival’s offerings.

Ahead of the concert’s opening, a meaningful cultural sharing program will take place at 10 a.m. on the 22nd at Siheung City’s Southern Senior Welfare Center. Alongside a meal-sharing event prepared with care by the Shoulder-to-Shoulder Meal Truck Volunteer Group, Moon Hee-ok, Kim Hye-yeon and Kim Ji-sun will join forces for the “Three Stars, Three Styles Concert,” bringing warmth and joy to local older residents.

The Shoulder-to-Shoulder Celebrity Volunteer Group is a nonprofit volunteer organization whose members—including popular music artists, cultural figures and sports professionals—carry out community service through talent donations. The group plans to continue its ongoing efforts to support underserved communities.
