The Disney+ original series <Fine: The Villagers> has released chemistry stills showcasing the strong bond between Gwan-seok (Ryu Seung-ryong) and Hee-dong (Yang Se-jong). Set in 1977, <Fine: The Villagers> tells the story of hardworking villagers who deceive and are deceived in their quest for a treasure ship buried under the sea, revealing the relationship between Ryu Seung-ryong and Yang Se-jong through two chemistry stills.

The first still captures Gwan-seok in a suit and Hee-dong in a leather jacket standing side by side on the beach. In the story, Gwan-seok is portrayed as a father figure to Hee-dong. The two set off together to find treasure in Sinan, but they experience various conflicts along the way, showcasing complex emotional changes. Their relationship goes beyond that of a simple uncle and nephew, possessing a deep bond that transcends blood relations, yet a subtle tension exists between them. Ryu Seung-ryong described Hee-dong as "like a son. He is a good partner who can pass on skills related to making money to his uneducated nephew during difficult times," explaining their unique relationship. He also mentioned, "Ultimately, it contains the process of recognizing Hee-dong as an independent individual, which raises curiosity about the dynamic chemistry they will display."

Next, a still of Gwan-seok and Hee-dong moving a large tank containing pottery on a boat catches the eye. Through the careful handling of the pottery by the two, we can glimpse the harsh reality of the 'villagers' where livelihood and desire intersect. As Yang Se-jong stated, "To Hee-dong, Gwan-seok is a practical father, and to Gwan-seok, Hee-dong is like a child raised with love," the two characters are expected to show a deep emotional connection that goes beyond family. Reports suggest that the chemistry between the two actors was special on set, with Ryu Seung-ryong praising Yang Se-jong as "a diligent actor who does not let go of his character even in the scorching sun," while Yang Se-jong expressed, "Ryu Seung-ryong sunbae is someone who carefully observes my acting even during rehearsals," revealing their deep trust and respect for each other. <Fine: The Villagers> will release 3 episodes on July 16 (Wed), 2 episodes on July 23 (Wed), 2 episodes on July 30 (Wed), 2 episodes on August 6 (Wed), and 2 episodes on August 13 (Wed), totaling 11 episodes to be available.
