Official Announcement of the Production of the Sequel to 'GODZILLA MINUS ONE'

〈GODZILLA MINUS ONE〉 has announced the production of its sequel.

The 2023 film 〈GODZILLA MINUS ONE〉 depicts Japan during World War II, featuring the giant monster Godzilla in the aftermath of radiation. This work commemorates the 70th anniversary of Japan's representative monster Godzilla and achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Visual Effects Award at the 96th Academy Awards, the first non-English language film to do so.

And on November 3rd, at 'GODZILLA FEST 2025', the production of the sequel to 〈GODZILLA MINUS ONE〉 was officially announced. As with the previous work, director Takashi Yamazaki will be in charge of directing, screenwriting, and VFX. The title has been confirmed as 〈GODZILLA MINUS ZERO〉(GODZILLA -0.0).

〈GODZILLA MINUS ONE〉 is currently available on Netflix instead of a theatrical release in Korea.
