NewJeans' Haerin and Hyein Return to Ador

Members of NewJeans, Haerin and Hyein, will be continuing with Ador.

On November 28, 2024, the group NewJeans held a press conference announcing the termination of their exclusive contract with their agency Ador, and subsequently engaged in legal disputes with Ador. However, on October 30, 2025, the court ruled in favor of Ador in the first trial of the exclusive contract validity confirmation lawsuit filed against NewJeans, stating, "The high trust circumstances regarding the defendant, Min Hee-jin, alone do not provide grounds to guarantee the position of CEO as a significant obligation of the exclusive contract."

Afterward, NewJeans expressed their intention to appeal, but on November 12, Ador announced their official position that members Haerin and Hyein would continue with Ador. According to the statement, Haerin and Hyein decided to respect the exclusive contract after careful consideration with their families, and Ador also stated that they would do their best to support the smooth entertainment activities of the two.
