It was announced on the 12th that Haerin and Hyein, members of the girl group NewJeans, have decided to resume their activities amid the contract dispute with their agency Ador.

Ador stated in a press release that "NewJeans members Haerin and Hyein have expressed their intention to continue their activities with Ador." The company explained, "The two members, after careful consideration with their families and thorough discussions with Ador, have decided to respect the court's ruling and comply with the contract."

This decision comes during the ongoing legal dispute between NewJeans and Ador. The members of NewJeans had demanded the return of former CEO Min Hee-jin, who was dismissed due to conflicts with HYBE, but when their request was not accepted, they claimed that their contract was terminated in November of last year due to Ador's breach of contract.

In response, Ador maintained that the contract with NewJeans is still valid and filed a lawsuit for confirmation of the contract's validity in December of the same year. They also filed a request for a preliminary injunction to prohibit the members from engaging in independent activities until the conclusion of the main lawsuit.

The court accepted Ador's claims in both the preliminary injunction case and the first instance. It seems that this court ruling influenced Haerin and Hyein's decision to return.

Ador stated, "We will do our best to ensure that Haerin and Hyein can continue their entertainment activities smoothly," and requested fans for their warm support while politely asking to refrain from speculation about the members.
