Jun Ji-hyun Transforms into a Captivating Gumiho!...Co-Starring with Ji Chang-wook in JTBC's New Drama 'Human X Gumiho'

Actress Jun Ji-hyun returns to the small screen as a gumiho who has lived for 2,000 years.

On the 12th, JTBC announced that it has cast Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook as the leads in the new drama 〈Human X Gumiho〉 (working title).

While Jun Ji-hyun is known as a top actress with stunning beauty, she will take on the role of the gumiho 'Gu Ja-hong' who has lived for 2,000 years. She attempts a new acting transformation through a mysterious character with the ability to captivate humans.

Ji Chang-wook plays 'Choi Seok', the only human who is immune to Gu Ja-hong's captivating abilities and possesses special powers. The chemistry between the two actors is expected to be a key highlight of the drama.

The production team is led by director Kim Jung-sik, who directed 〈Strong Woman Do Bong-soon〉, and the script is written by Im Me-a-ri, who worked on 〈The Beauty Inside〉.

In particular, this drama is set to meet global viewers through the online video service (OTT) Amazon Prime Video while airing on JTBC.
