The Pizza Place in ‘Parasite’ Says "It Will Be Demolished Soon If Redeveloped..."

Today (13th), on MBC 〈Save Me! Holmes〉, Yang Se-chan expressed his regret over the pizza place in the movie 〈Parasite〉 that will be "demolished soon if redeveloped." In this episode, Young-hoon, a member of the group 'The Boyz', along with Yang Se-chan and Kim Dae-ho, heads to Noryangjin for a site visit.

This broadcast is a celebration of the end of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), and they are heading to Noryangjin in the Dongjak District of Seoul, where various dreams are alive. The site visit in Noryangjin features Young-hoon from 'The Boyz', Yang Se-chan, and Kim Dae-ho, who are each aspiring to be an idol trainee, a judicial examination student, and a broadcaster, respectively, forming a special trio of 'exam candidates'.

The three of them head to the area scheduled for redevelopment in Noryangjin. It was designated as the Noryangjin New Town area in 2003, and redevelopment has just begun to pick up speed. They are heading to Zone 1, where residents are still living among the eight redevelopment zones.

While moving to view properties, the three discover the pizza place featured in the movie 'Parasite'. They say that not only the interior of the store but also the pizza boxes that the main character's family used are still left as they were. Yang Se-chan comments, "This pizza place will also disappear if it gets redeveloped. It's a shame."

The property located a 9-minute walk from Noryangjin Station is a semi-basement room in front of the main gate, boasting a clean white-toned interior. The tenant shows them around, saying there is a special space here, and after checking the interior, the three are left speechless by the unexpected space. Meanwhile, Young-hoon, who was watching the tenant's face, says, "I saw you on social media... right?" raising curiosity about who it could be.
