
〈Cross〉 has confirmed the production of its sequel 〈Cross 2〉 and revealed the casting lineup. 〈Cross〉 ranked first in the global TOP 10 movies (non-English) just three days after its release on Netflix in August 2024, and in its second week, it made it to the TOP 10 list in a total of 43 countries, providing viewers around the world with a refreshing and thrilling summer. 〈Cross 2〉 is an entertainment action film that depicts the story of the couple 'Kang-moo' and 'Mi-sun' who dive into a once-in-a-lifetime operation to prevent the theft of cultural properties from an unidentified organization.
The casting lineup, featuring familiar faces who showcased delightful performances in the previous installment along with newly joined trusted actors, raises expectations for 〈Cross 2〉. First, Hwang Jung-min returns as 'Kang-moo', who displayed an unprecedented charm by switching between the roles of a caring husband and a former special agent in the previous film.
