Im Si-wan Releases First Solo Album 'The Reason' Today... Returns to Singing Career

Im Si-wan, who is from the group ZE:A and is currently active as an actor, will debut as a solo artist by releasing his first solo album 'The Reason' on the 5th, as announced by Smart, a music label under SM Entertainment.

This album produced by Smart includes a total of five tracks, including the title song 'The Reason', 'My Love', 'Just the Two of Us', 'Where I Need To Be', and 'Piece'.

The title song 'The Reason' is a medium-tempo pop genre song that expresses the sweet message of 'You are my only reason' with a dynamic instrumental arrangement.

Im Si-wan stated, "I have sung OSTs solo before and expected it wouldn't be much different from my previous music activities, but as the release of my first solo album approaches, I feel a new excitement."

He continued, "I tried to incorporate various experiences I've built on stage into the album, and while I personally prefer more static songs, I also considered the importance of stage performance and found a balanced point. I composed the album with songs that can be comfortably listened to."

Im Si-wan also mentioned, "All the tracks are songs that you won't get tired of and can listen to for a long time, so I think my 'favorite song' will change depending on my mood and emotional state each day. Although there are still many shortcomings, the time spent with my fans was truly precious, so I prepared with my best effort to be together for a longer time in the future."
