Ma Dong-seok, Lee Jin-wook, and Lisa's Netflix Movie 'Taigo' Production Confirmed

The fresh combination of Ma Dong-seok, Lee Jin-wook, and BLACKPINK's Lisa will be showcased.

On the morning of the 5th, Netflix confirmed the production of the film 〈Taigo〉, which shares the universe with the action movie series 〈Extraction〉, loved worldwide for its vibrant real-action featuring Chris Hemsworth, and revealed a fresh casting lineup.

〈Taigo〉 is an action movie about a mercenary named Taigo, who grew up as a war orphan, embarking on a life-threatening rescue mission when Ria, whom he considers family, is kidnapped by a criminal organization while he is on a critical mission. 〈Taigo〉 will present the story of the new character Taigo, his friends, and the criminal organization that threatens them within the universe of the globally popular action movie series 〈Extraction〉.

The role of Taigo, who has lived a life solely for survival in war zones, will be played by Ma Dong-seok, an actor who has gained global popularity not only in Korea but also worldwide. Lee Jin-wook will showcase his acting transformation as Arman Choi, the leader of the criminal organization opposing Taigo. Lastly, Lisa (Lalisa Manoban), a global K-POP star who has created a worldwide syndrome through her activities with BLACKPINK, will play Ria, Taigo's friend and a team member who carries out missions with him.

〈Taigo〉 will be directed by Lee Sang-yong, who directed parts 2 and 3 of 〈The Outlaws〉, with action director Heo Myung-hyung participating.
