Kim Hye-yoon Becomes a Virgin Nine-Tailed Fox... 'No Tail to Tell' Production Team Says, "The Story of an 'MZ Nine-Tailed Fox' Who Refuses to Become Human is the Differentiating Point"

Kim Hye-yoon returns to the small screen after about 1 year and 8 months since 〈Lovely Runner〉.

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama 〈No Tail to Tell〉 which premieres on the 16th, is a fantasy drama depicting the chaotic romance between an MZ nine-tailed fox who does not want to become human and a self-absorbed human. Kim Hye-yoon plays the role of Eun-ho, a nine-tailed fox over 900 years old. Eun-ho is a character who refrains from even small good deeds for fear of becoming human and avoids major wrongdoings to not lose her thousand-year powers. She is known as the 'golden child' of the nine-tailed fox world, living freely while granting wishes that cannot be fulfilled with human abilities and receiving a price in return.

The difference between 〈No Tail to Tell〉 and existing nine-tailed fox narratives is clear. Writers Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young stated, "The question of why an attractive nine-tailed fox always wants to become human was the starting point of the story," and added, "We prepared the drama with the conviction that we could tell a new nine-tailed fox story through Eun-ho, who lives as she wants rather than conforming to the world's standards." Director Kim Jung-kwon also explained, "While existing nine-tailed foxes had a scary image, our drama's nine-tailed fox has no interest in human livers and does not seduce men," emphasizing that the refusal to become human is the differentiating point of the 'MZ nine-tailed fox.'
