BTS is embarking on the largest world tour in history, covering 5 continents. Following their comeback in March, this tour is expected to feature the most massive and spectacular stage in BTS history.
According to Big Hit Music on the 14th (Korean time), BTS revealed the schedule for their 2026-2027 world tour through their official channel on the previous day (13th). This tour will take place in a total of 79 shows across 34 regions including Asia, North America, Europe, South America, and Australia.
◆ Kicking Off in Goyang on April 9... Visiting Busan, London, and LA
The tour will open in South Korea. Starting on April 9 at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province, it will then move on to Tokyo, Japan, Tampa and Las Vegas in the United States, and Mexico City. In June, the tour will visit Busan, the hometown of members Jimin and Jungkook, as well as Madrid, Spain, Munich, Germany, and Paris, France. Notably, in the UK, they will perform at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, famous for being the home ground of player Son Heung-min, on July 6 and 7, meeting local fans.
◆ "Visible from Anywhere"... Bold Introduction of 360-Degree Stage
The key feature of this tour is the '360-Degree In-the-Round' stage design. The stage will be placed in the center of the audience, eliminating sight restrictions and allowing more fans to enjoy the members' performances up close. This method is primarily used by global pop stars like U2 and Ed Sheeran, and is expected to maximize the immersion of BTS performances.
◆ Returning as a 'Complete Group' with a New Album
This tour coincides with the release of their 5th studio album on March 20. As it is their first regular album in a long time since 2020, it is highly likely that 14 new songs, in which the members participated in writing and composing, will be premiered during the tour.
After about 4 years, BTS will meet the global ARMY as a complete group. General ticket sales will start on January 24 (local time), and a record-breaking 'ticket war' is expected. The agency added, "Additional concert cities in Japan and the Middle East will be announced later."
