The dating reality show 'Love Island: All Stars' Season 3 has been postponed indefinitely due to an unexpected natural disaster.
Originally scheduled to start on the night of the 12th local time, 'Love Island: All Stars' Season 3 was abruptly canceled due to a massive wildfire in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
◆ Emergency Evacuation from the Flames... "Broadcast Date Undetermined"
ITV stated in a press release, "Due to the wildfire near the filming location, the cast and crew were evacuated urgently," adding, "Health and safety are our top priorities, so we will postpone the broadcast until the situation stabilizes." Consequently, instead of the main broadcast on the night of the 12th, a 10th anniversary special titled 'Love Island: A Decade of Love' was scheduled as a replacement.
Local media reported that "filming is expected to resume on the 14th, and the broadcast could start as early as the 15th (Thursday)," but ITV has not yet confirmed a specific resumption date.
◆ 'All-Stars' Finding Love Again
This season has generated excitement with the participation of an all-star cast alongside host Maya Jama. Notably, the return of Millie Court, the winner of Season 7 in 2021, has garnered attention. She broke up with her winning partner Liam Reardon after four years of dating last September. Millie expressed her desire to return, stating, "I had a tough year. I want to create new memories where it all began."
In addition, 12 popular contestants, including pop star Ronan Keating's son Jack Keating, Whitney Adebayo, and Jess Harding, were set to compete for a total prize of £50,000 (approximately 85 million won) and true love over six weeks.
As the 'Island of Love' comes to a halt due to natural disasters, fans around the world are focused on when it will reopen its doors again.
