Global act Stray Kids is once again demonstrating the overwhelming stature of a performance powerhouse, becoming the first overseas male act to hold solo concerts at Tokyo National Stadium through its new world tour 〈RUN IT〉.

The group's explosive global momentum is also evident on the Billboard charts. Its latest album, 〈THIS & THAT〉, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Billboard's main albums chart in the United States, after selling 369,000 units in the country during its first week. Stray Kids has now scored nine consecutive No. 1 albums, beginning with its 2022 mini album 〈ODDINARY〉. The feat gives the group the most No. 1 albums among groups in the 21st century and secures its place in pop music history as the fastest act since the Beatles to put nine albums at the top of the chart. The group remains at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the World Albums chart in its second week, underscoring its formidable commercial momentum.

As it moves into larger venues and expands its global reach, Stray Kids will maintain its nonstop international run in the second half of the year. The group will perform at Brazil's major music festival 〈Rock in Rio〉 on Sept. 11, then meet fans worldwide as a headliner at 〈STRAYCITY〉, a new festival held in three Latin American locations that month. On Nov. 25, it will release its fourth Japanese mini album, 〈SUIATSU〉, whose title means water pressure. Its previous release, 〈Hollow〉, won two awards in the Asian category at the 40th Japan Gold Disc Award. With the group's arrival at Tokyo National Stadium, its long-term success and firmly established influence in Japan are expected to grow even further.
