
Actress Won Ji-an shared her thoughts on participating in 〈Made in Korea〉.
On the 15th, Won Ji-an conveyed her feelings about the ending of 〈Made in Korea〉 through her agency, Whiten Entertainment. The Disney+ original series 〈Made in Korea〉, which concluded on January 14, tells the story of 'Baek Gi-tae' (Hyun Bin), a man who aims to rise to the peak of wealth and power by using the country as a profit model, and 'Jang Geon-young' (Jung Woo-sung), a prosecutor who relentlessly pursues him to the edge with a terrifying obsession, as they face monumental events that define the era in the chaotic and transformative 1970s South Korea. Won Ji-an plays 'Ikeda Yuji', a powerful figure in the Osaka Yakuza organization and a lobbyist, showcasing undeniable desire and a chilling charisma in a perfect transformation.
Won Ji-an stated, "It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful work as 〈Made in Korea〉. I am grateful to have been able to challenge myself with a new role that I have never experienced before, and I sincerely thank the wonderful director, seniors, and staff for the opportunity to work together. I learned a lot through this project, and I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who watched 'Made in Korea.'"
Meanwhile, Won Ji-an recently collaborated with Park Seo-joon in the JTBC weekend drama 〈Waiting for Gyeongdo〉, which concluded on the 11th.
