The fantasy epic 'Game of Thrones' that swept the world has returned not with a massive war, but with a simple and warm adventure tale.
According to HBO and foreign media on the 19th (Korean time), the new spin-off series of 'Game of Thrones' 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' premiered on the 18th at 10 PM (local time).
◆ 100 Years Before 'Game of Thrones', the Journey of a Knight and a Boy
Based on George R.R. Martin's novella 'Dunk and Egg', this series is set 100 years before the main story, during the time when the Targaryen family still ruled Westeros. The protagonists are Peter Clafy as the wandering knight 'Dunk (Ser Duncan the Tall)' and Dexter Sol Ansell as his little squire and secret-keeping boy 'Egg'. Instead of a massive power struggle, it focuses on the adventures and friendship of the two as they wander through Westeros.

◆ "Even Anti-fans Can Enjoy It"... Flood of Praise
The response right after the premiere is enthusiastic. The British Guardian mentioned the comedic chemistry of the lead actors, praising it as "the best moment of the Game of Thrones franchise". NPR described it as "a series for Game of Thrones anti-fans", giving high marks for its story that focuses on humanity rather than power.
The original author and executive producer George R.R. Martin also visited the set and expressed satisfaction with the casting that perfectly embodies the spirit of the original, saying he discovered something special in the two actors.
◆ Short and Concise, A 6-Week Journey
This season consists of a total of 6 episodes, each with a relatively short running time of 35-45 minutes, enhancing immersion. It will be released every Sunday night, with the season finale scheduled to air on February 22.
