'Zootopia 2' Surpasses $1.7 Billion Worldwide... Becomes the Highest-Grossing Hollywood Animation of All Time

Disney's animation 〈Zootopia 2〉 has achieved a revenue of $1.7 billion (approximately 2.5142 trillion won) at the global box office, becoming the highest-grossing film in Hollywood animation history.

According to Box Office Mojo, a U.S. box office tracking site, as of the 19th (local time), 〈Zootopia 2〉 has grossed $393.24 million in North America and $1.333 billion in other regions, totaling $1.70654 billion in ticket sales.

This figure surpasses the revenue of 〈Inside Out 2〉, which was $1.69886 billion, setting a new record for Hollywood animation box office. Disney now holds the top three spots in Hollywood animation box office records with 〈Zootopia 2〉 (1st), 〈Inside Out 2〉 (2nd), and 〈Frozen 2〉 (3rd).

Notably, the performance in the Chinese market is remarkable. 〈Zootopia 2〉 has earned over $619 million in China alone, establishing the highest-grossing record among Hollywood films released in China.

Beyond animation, 〈Zootopia 2〉 has achieved the 9th highest-grossing record worldwide across all films.
