It has also been remade into a Korean film starring Choi Young-woo and Cynthia.
The Japanese film 〈Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight〉 surpassed 1.21 million cumulative viewers during its release in Korea in 2022, ranking in the TOP 2 of all-time Japanese live-action films & all-time Japanese romance films. The film sparked the 'Oseisa Syndrome' during its initial release in Korea, maintaining a long-term box office run of about 3 months, with teenage viewers accounting for over 30% of the total audience, making it a favorite among GEN-Z audiences.
