Stray Kids, IFPI 'Global Artist Chart 2025' 2nd Place…SEVENTEEN Also at 14th Place

The group Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN have once again proven the global status of K-pop by being listed in the 'Global Artist Chart 2025' announced by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

According to the tally released by IFPI on the 18th (local time), Stray Kids ranked 2nd overall, following pop star Taylor Swift. SEVENTEEN secured the 14th position.

With over 8,000 record companies as members, IFPI compiles the 'Global Artist Chart' annually based on physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures, and this chart is considered a representative indicator of the most popular artists of the year.

Stray Kids has been on the chart for 4 consecutive years since first entering at 7th place in 2022. This 2nd place is the highest ranking in the team's history. SEVENTEEN has also consistently proven their global fandom by being listed for 5 consecutive years since 2021.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has topped the 'Global Artist Chart' for the sixth time, maintaining the number one spot for 4 consecutive years since 2022.
