From March 11 (Wednesday), the 'Wim Wenders Retrospective - A Journey That Became a Film, A Film That Became a Journey' will be held at CGV Art House nationwide, featuring the film 〈Paris, Texas〉, which is set to have its domestic premiere in 4K remastering on March 11 (Wednesday), and has released the main trailer that encapsulates the most beautiful mise-en-scène.

〈Paris, Texas〉 is a representative work of director Wim Wenders, who won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, depicting the journey of Travis, who wanders the Texas desert with no memory, as he sets out to find his missing wife Jane with his son Hunter, whom he reunites with after four years.

# The Most Beautiful Mise-en-scène Unfolding in 4K Remastering
The newly released main trailer begins with the protagonist 'Travis' wandering alone over the vast desert, instantly capturing the audience's attention. His image, walking in silence while wearing a red hat and a dusty suit, symbolically represents the fundamental loneliness of the film.
The following trailer showcases the journey of father Travis and son Hunter, who reunite after four years, as they set off in an old car to find Jane. The process of the awkward father-son duo confirming each other's feelings on the road makes the audience's hearts swell, as noted by Jim Jarmusch, who called it "the most beautiful film I've ever seen."
In particular, the line "I can hear your voice" spoken by Jane at the beginning of the trailer and her intense appearance in a pink mohair sweater looking back in the latter part of the trailer heightens anticipation for their reunion, which is considered one of the most famous endings in film history.

# Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or Winner & The Return of the 'Life Movie' Loved by Artists Worldwide
〈Paris, Texas〉 won the Palme d'Or with the praise from the jury of the 37th Cannes Film Festival, stating it is "the work that visualizes human alienation and loneliness most perfectly by borrowing the form of a road movie." This 4K remastering release will be a special opportunity to enjoy the aesthetic colors captured by legendary cinematographer Robbie Müller and the lyrical guitar melodies of Ry Cooder in the best quality and sound.
The film has received warm praise. Wes Anderson, known for his unique mise-en-scène in films like 〈The Grand Budapest Hotel〉 and 〈The French Dispatch〉, paid tribute by calling it "an undisputed masterpiece," while Stellan Skarsgård, who starred in 〈The Sense of an Ending〉, remarked, "With Harry Dean Stanton's face, Robbie Müller's images, and Ry Cooder's music, Wim Wenders has given us a sad poem of America that we either never had or perhaps lost." He did not hold back his praise for the film, the director, the actors, and the staff.

A masterpiece that has inspired global artists, 〈Paris, Texas〉 will be screened as part of the 'Wim Wenders Retrospective - A Journey That Became a Film, A Film That Became a Journey' at CGV Art House nationwide, opening on March 11 (Wednesday) to meet the audience.
