
Actor Yoo Ji-tae, who passionately portrayed Han Myung-hoe in the movie 〈The King's Warden〉, shared his thoughts on participating in the work.
On the 25th, actor Yoo Ji-tae appeared on SBS News' 'Nightline Invitation'. On that day, Yoo Ji-tae talked about his feelings about participating in the movie 〈The King's Warden〉, which recently surpassed 6 million viewers, as well as behind-the-scenes stories and the process of preparing for the role of Han Myung-hoe.
Yoo Ji-tae expressed his thoughts on the film's success, saying, "I have been an actor for about 30 years. I think this is the most successful work among the 30 or so films I've done. Especially since the Korean film industry has been struggling lately, I am grateful that 〈The King's Warden〉 has become such a success."
Additionally, regarding his intense portrayal of Han Myung-hoe in 〈The King's Warden〉, he stated, "I felt a sense of duty to express the villain in the film well. I thought I needed to depict Han Myung-hoe functionally and as a villain while also capturing the layers of emotion and the texture of feelings." He added, "I remember putting in effort to create the image and presence of Han Myung-hoe."
〈The King's Warden〉 was released on the 4th and is currently showing in theaters.
