BTS revealed the full tracklist of the album through their official SNS on the 4th. A total of 14 tracks will be included, including the title track 'SWIM', 'Body to Body', 'Hooligan', 'Aliens', 'FYA', and '2.0'.

Their agency Big Hit Music stated, "The new album encompasses BTS's identity and the emotions built over their journey." They added, "BTS held a songwriting session in Los Angeles last summer to work on the music. Star producers like Diplo, Ryan Tedder, and El Ginchou participated."

'Hooligan' reflects on the time spent paving the way around the world, while 'Aliens' expresses aspirations towards the world, and '2.0' shines a light on the current state of the seven members entering a new phase.

'No.29' and 'Merry Go Round' tell the story of enduring the repetitive cycles of life, while 'NORMAL' is a song that honestly expresses the emotions felt on and off stage. 'Like Animals' conveys the will to live passionately, and 'they don't know 'bout us' delivers a confident message of "We are just ourselves."

'One More Night' expresses the desire to linger in a blissful moment, while 'Please' contains honest feelings of wanting to be together in any situation. The album concludes with 'Into the Sun', a confession of wanting to run towards you.
