The girl group BLACKPINK's third mini album 'DEADLINE' has surpassed 1.77 million copies in its first week, setting a new all-time record for K-Pop girl groups, YG Entertainment announced on the 6th.

BLACKPINK sold over 1.46 million copies on the first day of release, signaling an explosive success.
YG stated, "As a leading force in the global music market, we can feel BLACKPINK's immense influence and the explosive power of the core fandom they have built so far," adding, "As global demand far exceeds expectations, additional production is underway, so the final sales figures are expected to increase further."
