〈Time of Cinema〉 is an anthology film made up of three short films by directors Lee Jong-pil, Yoon Ga-eun, and Jang Geon-jae, serving as a cinema love letter to the theater and film that have always been unchanging friends, laughing, crying, and dreaming together. 〈Time of Cinema〉 features various characters as protagonists, evoking not only cinematic fun but also the unique experiences and memories that the theater as a place provides. In particular, this work was produced to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the representative art cinema Cinecube in South Korea, presenting new challenges and hopes for the future of theaters and films, garnering even more attention. Most notably, during the screening at the 30th Busan International Film Festival last year, President Lee Jae-myung and his wife watched 〈Time of Cinema〉 and promised support for the Korean film industry, creating a significant buzz.

The released illustration poster features rainbow-colored curves and various characters arranged on film, capturing the three episodes in one frame, raising curiosity about what stories the diverse characters will create. The poster includes a scene of young Kodo (Won Shutaein) and Momo (Lee Soo-kyung) dancing from [Chimpanzee], along with a chimpanzee sitting beside them, and the child actors from [Naturally], as well as a scene where the film (Yang Mal-bok) and Coincidence (Jang Hye-jin) from [Time of Cinema] meet. Additionally, in the theater seats, Kodo (Kim Dae-myung), who became a film director in [Chimpanzee], the film director (Go Ah-sung) from [Naturally], and the audience 'Necktie' (Moon Sang-hoon) from [Time of Cinema] sit side by side, connecting the three episodes within a single time frame. The iconic Hammering Man of Cinecube is also included, capturing various characters and spaces within one scene.

This illustration poster was created by artist Yoon Ye-ji. Yoon Ye-ji is the author of the picture book 『Let’s Go for a Walk』 (Munhakdongne, 2021) and has worked on numerous book covers and illustrations, including the 20th Anniversary Special Edition of 『The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly』. She actively collaborates with various brands such as The New York Times, Apple App Store, Nike, Naver, and Shinsegae Department Store, working in publishing, poster, and advertising fields. She has also collaborated with Amnesty International's Korean branch and has been responsible for the poster illustrations for the Seoul Animal Film Festival organized by the animal rights group Kara every year, continuing her work across fields and countries. The poster, infused with Yoon Ye-ji's warm perspective, beautifully captures the theater's landscape depicted in 〈Time of Cinema〉 as a lovely image. Yoon Ye-ji expressed her thoughts on the proposal for this illustration poster project, saying, "As someone who frequently visits independent cinemas, it was a very joyful and delightful project."
