What If I Have to Kill My Favorite? CRAVITY's Hyungjun Stars in Interactive Drama 'Kill the Romeo'

Hyungjun, a member of the group CRAVITY, is set to launch his acting career in a unique genre where the protagonist's fate is determined by viewer choices.

The global K-POP short-form platform 'KITZ' announced on the 5th that it will exclusively release Hyungjun's first interactive short-form drama 〈Kill the Romeo〉 in mid-March. 〈Kill the Romeo〉 tells the story of the protagonist 'I', who is a passionate fan of the idol 'Hyungjun' by day and a killer by night. One day, the new target assigned to 'I' turns out to be none other than my 'favorite' idol, Hyungjun, leading to unpredictable situations in this interactive multi-ending romantic comedy.

In particular, this work adopts a first-person perspective interactive FMV (Full Motion Video) genre to maximize immersion. Viewers will take on the role of the killer and must make choices at key points in the story, resulting in entirely different endings, such as whether to rescue Hyungjun or carry out the assassination mission. This breaks away from the traditional one-way viewing experience, allowing viewers to become the protagonists of the narrative.

In this work, Hyungjun plays a character named 'Hyungjun', who shares his name and is the center of the popular group, marking his official acting debut. In the drama, Hyungjun is portrayed as a warm character who carefully considers the feelings of his fans, and he will delicately depict the confusion and emotional changes he experiences after discovering that he is the target of a killer during a fan signing event.

Hyungjun's starring role in 〈Kill the Romeo〉 has completed filming and is set to be released worldwide through the KITZ app in March.
