Britney Spears Enters Voluntary Rehabilitation After DUI Arrest

Britney Spears is currently receiving rehabilitation treatment after being arrested for DUI.

On April 12 (local time), multiple entertainment outlets in North America reported that Britney Spears voluntarily entered a treatment facility for rehabilitation. After that, Spears’ spokesperson acknowledged the matter, confirming that Britney Spears had been hospitalized.

Although she is a world-famous pop star, Britney Spears’ life has not been smooth, including allegations of abuse by her father, who served as her conservator. Recently, on April 5, she was arrested in Ventura County, California, in the U.S. for DUI and was released the following day. Sources say that after the DUI arrest, she became more focused on turning things around. However, some people continued to criticize it as a publicity stunt ahead of her court appearance on May 4.
