
Actor Kim Jae-won and Jung Soo-bin, who star in the film 〈My First Graduation Ceremony〉, have completed the main cast lineup and kicked off their first shoot on the 8th.
〈My First Graduation Ceremony〉 follows high school girl Do-young, who dreams of ending it all, as she entrusts her “flawless fatal-accident plan” to Do-ha, a psychopathic transfer student.
In the drama, Kim Jae-won plays the mysterious transfer student “Gu Do-ha,” who arrives at a seaside small-town high school. Previously, Kim Jae-won appeared in the dramas 〈King the Land〉, 〈The Tale of Mrs. Ok〉, 〈Eun-choong and Eun-dae〉, 〈Lady Du a〉, and 〈Yumi's Cells Season 3〉, among others. Jung Soo-bin takes on the role of “Chae Do-young,” a high school girl plotting a fatal accident with meticulous precision. Jung Soo-bin appeared in Netflix 〈Juvenile Justice〉, as well as 〈Trolley〉, 〈Investigation Team 1958〉, 〈It's Okay, It's Okay, It's Okay!〉, and 〈The Competition of Goodness〉, among others.
Supporting cast has also been confirmed. Park Ho-san will play “Man-soo,” Do-young’s father, and Heo Jun-seok will play “Jun-ki,” Do-ha’s father. Lee Joo-young joins as “Soo-a,” Do-young’s soulmate.
The film is directed by Kim Jin-hwa, director of 〈Yoon Si-nae Disappeared〉. Director Kim Jin-hwa said, “It’s meaningful to be able to create together with actors who have unique personalities and an exceptional sense of rhythm. I’ll do my best to help bring out the best possible synergy.”
