Choi Kang-rok and Kim Do-yoon of 'Culinary Class Wars' travel across the country with Defconn; gourmet variety show 'Choi Kang Road - Sikpoiler' premieres on the 21st

SBS new variety show 〈Choi Kang Road - Sikpoiler〉 will premiere on the 21st at 9 PM.

〈Choi Kang Road - Sikpoiler〉 is a gourmet road-talk show in which chefs Choi Kang-rok and Kim Do-yoon and TV personality Defconn travel around the country, sharing stories about ingredients and cooking.

In the first episode airing that day, the three cast members visit Jirisan, where Chef Kim Do-yoon sources ingredients. Chef Kim introduces local produce such as mountain greens from Jirisan and personally demonstrates the process of breaking down a whole black pig.

Differences in their cooking processes are also shown. Chef Kim Do-yoon emphasizes the importance of cooking equipment and spends six hours building a wood-fired oven by hand, while Chef Choi Kang-rok uses only a single piece of equipment and proceeds with cooking, highlighting their contrasting approaches.

Unlike Chef Kim Do-yoon, who postpones cooking that day to let the black pork age, Chef Choi Kang-rok immediately prepares a dish using the black pork, earning high praise from Defconn.
