Lady Gaga Makes a Special Appearance in ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’... Also Joins the OST

Pop star and actor Lady Gaga makes a special appearance in the film 〈The Devil Wears Prada 2〉.

On the 21st, Walt Disney Company Korea announced that Lady Gaga will take part in the film's OST and make a surprise cameo in 〈The Devil Wears Prada 2〉, which is set to be released on the 29th.

Lady Gaga lent her vocals to the original song 'Runway' featured in this film's main trailer. The track was completed through a collaboration with American rapper Doechii.

Along with contributing the song, it was also reported that she will appear in the film as a cameo. Previously, Lady Gaga—who starred in 〈A Star Is Born〉 and 〈House of Gucci〉, and earned nominations for Best Actress at the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes—is drawing attention to what kind of role she will play in this new installment.

〈The Devil Wears Prada 2〉 tells the story of Emily reuniting with Miranda, editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine 〈Runway〉, and Andy, who returns as a planning editor after 20 years, as well as the luxury-brand executive who reappears.

In this film, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci—who helped drive the box-office success of the previous installment—reunite again after 20 years. In addition, the film's key original production team has come together again, with director David Frankel at the helm and screenwriter Elin Brosh McKenna, while Karen Rosenfeld handles production.

〈The Devil Wears Prada 2〉 will open in South Korea first worldwide on Wednesday, April 29.
