Actors Cha Seung-won and Kim Do-hoon have confirmed they will appear in tvN's new drama 〈Retired Agent Management Team〉.
〈Retired Agent Management Team〉 follows the story of Kim Chul-soo (Cha Seung-won), a former National Intelligence Service (NIS) black-ops operative who now runs a local car wash, and Go Yo-han (Kim Do-hoon), an NIS ace who was demoted to the Retired Agent Management Team, as they team up to hunt down a traitor.
Cha Seung-won leads the series as former operative Kim Chul-soo. Kim Do-hoon portrays rookie agent Go Yo-han, who entered the agency with top scores but was assigned to the basement management team and now struggles to return to the field. The two characters, who come from completely different backgrounds and tastes, will end up joining forces as they pursue the traitor behind the criminal organization.
The project is directed by Jin Chang-gyu, who has taken the helm on dramas such as 〈Treasure Island〉, 〈Military Prosecutor Doberman〉, 〈Chip In〉, and 〈Bad Papa〉, with scripts by writers Song Han-na and Kim Min-seong. Production is handled by Studio Dragon and The Great Show.
The production team said, "The team-up between a retired NIS agent and a rookie agent will be the main point of interest," adding, "It will be a work that combines action, comedy, and bromance elements."
tvN's new drama 〈Retired Agent Management Team〉 is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2026.
