A Hollywood film and a K-pop group have teamed up.

Warner Bros. Korea said on the 2nd that it had confirmed June 24 as the South Korea release date for 〈Supergirl〉 and released a celebratory video featuring K-pop group LE SSERAFIM.

In the video, LE SSERAFIM members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae appear to congratulate the film on its release and introduce the collaboration track. Released on May 31, 'CELEBRATION (Supergirl Ver.)' remixes LE SSERAFIM's lead single 'CELEBRATION' from the group's second studio album and will be featured in the film.

The film 〈Supergirl〉 is an action blockbuster that follows Kara Zor-El, who — haunted by past trauma — becomes a hero as she confronts Krem, the being that has thrown the entire universe into crisis. She faces that threat alongside Lucy, who is bent on revenge, and bounty hunter Lobo. Craig Gillespie, who directed the film 〈Cruella〉, is at the helm.

Milly Alcock, who appeared in the series 〈House of the Dragon〉, plays the lead role of Supergirl (Kara Zor-El). Jason Momoa, star of the film 〈Aquaman〉, co-stars as DC Comics' bounty hunter Lobo.

The film 〈Supergirl〉 opens in South Korean theaters on Wednesday, June 24.
