A suspense thriller film titled ‘Eye of the Beholder,’ in which Seo-jin, gradually losing her eyesight to a hereditary disease, digs into suspicions surrounding the death of her twin sister and faces the truth, has released behind-the-scenes stills as captivating as the movie itself.

First, stills capturing Shin Min-a at the scene as she plays the twin sisters Seo-jin and Seo-in draw attention. From Seo-jin, wrapping bandages after surgery to restore her eyesight, to the way she listens seriously to director Yeom Ji-ho’s direction, the images show her immersion on set. Shin Min-a, who heightened the mood of the genre by displaying a wide range of costume-wearing ability—matching the two-in-one role of “the twins,” from neutral-toned outfits to dazzling patterned looks—boosted the appeal of ‘Eye of the Beholder.’

The behind-the-scenes stills of Kim Nam-hee and Lee Seung-ryong, which deliver action in blood-and-sweat form, also catch the eye. Behind-the-scenes stills depicting Do-hyeok restraining Hyun-min, who approaches Seo-jin alone in an underground parking garage, show the effort they poured in to create an action sequence full of tension. In particular, Hyun-min, played by Lee Seung-ryong, is a character who clashes with everyone—Seo-jin, whom he fixates on, the detective Do-hyeok in charge, and Gwang-cheol (Kim Jun-bae), who watches Seo-jin—making the stills especially compelling as they reveal him staying immersed while continuing with blood makeup.

Finally, the stills also show Kim Nam-hee standing side by side with director Yeom Ji-ho as she checks the storyboard for the next scene. Playing detective Do-hyeok, the officer who tracks Seo-in’s death alongside Seo-jin, Kim Nam-hee previously said, “Because it was not an easy character, I wanted to take on the challenge, and instead of creating a character, I tried to express the director’s thoughts well.” As in that statement, the behind-the-scenes cut confirms her faithful focus on the script and direction.
