Lee Jung-eun X Gong Hyo-jin X Park So-dam X Lee Yeon 'Gyeongju Trip' Unveils a Teaser Trailer for a Killer Revenge Tale by Four Mothers and Daughters

The film 〈Gyeongju Trip〉 released its teaser trailer on July 20. 〈Gyeongju Trip〉 is a family revenge drama about four mothers and daughters who set off on a "killer" journey after an 8-year wait, for their youngest daughter Gyeongju, who never came back from a school trip. Lee Jung-eun, Gong Hyo-jin, Park So-dam, and Lee Yeon star together, raising expectations.

The teaser trailer unleashed the 〈Gyeongju Trip〉-only energy that swings between eerie chill and cheerful humor. Beginning with scenes in which the four mothers and daughters—Lee Jung-eun as mother Ok-sil with a serious expression, Gong Hyo-jin as Jang-ju, Park So-dam as Young-ju, and Lee Yeon as Dong-ju—drop the kidnapping murderer and then take group photos together to secure an alibi, the trailer hints at a plot with twists and turns.

With director Kim Mi-jo debuting in the commercial film space after first presenting her first feature film through the movie 〈Seagull〉, the chemistry among the four actors has drawn particular attention. Even before its release, the film was invited one after another to major festivals such as the Hawaii International Film Festival and the Florence Korea Film Festival. 〈Gyeongju Trip〉 opens on Aug. 26.
