On the 25th, agency 'BH Entertainment' announced the couple's October wedding in an official statement. The ceremony will be held quietly as a solemn worship service, with only family members and close relatives from both sides invited, away from public scrutiny.

That day, 'Jang Dong-yoon' shared the happy news directly with the public by posting a carefully handwritten letter on his social media accounts. "Over a long period of time, we came to understand and cherish each other deeply as we faced the many sides of one another," he wrote. "Now, we have promised to be each other's strongest support from the closest place and to share a fun and happy journey together." Their story began with 'The Tale of Nokdu'. 'Kim Seung-yoon', who made her debut in the entertainment industry through the production, later landed consecutive lead roles in the 2023 short film 'Be My Ears', directed by 'Jang Dong-yoon', and his first feature film, 'Leaven', released in April this year. Their partnership has gone beyond a simple romantic relationship, demonstrating perfect synergy as artistic comrades who share the struggles of the creative process.

Meanwhile, 'Jang Dong-yoon' first made headlines in 2015 as a so-called 'handsome college student' after subduing an armed robber at a convenience store.
