The Flowing Journey, which has drawn attention for bringing together Kim Hye-ok and Justin H. Min, will finally open in October.

The Flowing Journey is a 2025 film that made headlines after winning two awards at the 30th Busan International Film Festival: the Korean Film Directors’ Guild PLUS M Award and the KBS Independent Film Award. It follows Chun-hee, who is preparing for a journey of her own after her husband’s death, as she encounters an unexpected connection at the apartment she has just moved into.

The Flowing Journey has drawn particular attention for its cross-generational casting, bringing together Kim Hye-ok and Justin H. Min. Kim Hye-ok plays Chun-hee, while Justin H. Min plays Min-jun, who was adopted to Germany and raised there before coming to South Korea in search of his birth mother. The two actors fill the screen with a delicate chemistry.
