Taemin of SHINee is set to release his new solo mini-album ‘Phase 1: Soft Violence’ at 6 p.m. on the 31st. The new album, announced by his agency Big Planet Made Entertainment, features 11 tracks that showcase the full range of his abilities as a singular solo artist.

The album carefully captures the tension and contradictions hidden within the familiar, along with the ‘subtle cracks’ that emerge from them. Driven by the central message that ‘beauty is sometimes cruel,’ it transforms the profound narratives concealed beneath surface-level appeal into multidimensional sound.

The tracklist boasts a diverse musical spectrum. Led by the double title tracks ‘Float’ and ‘Gui,’ the album features 11 polished songs, including ‘Sober’ and ‘Parasite,’ which Taemin previewed in April at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival,’ the largest music festival in the United States, fueling curiosity among fans worldwide.
