Film ‘Nam Eun-jung’ Locks In Yeom Jung-ah, Park Eun-bin, Wi Ha-joon, Lee Ki-taek and Lee Min-ji, Begins Filming!

The film 〈Nam Eun-jung〉 has finalized its powerhouse cast, adding Wi Ha-joon, Lee Ki-taek and Lee Min-ji after Yeom Jung-ah and Park Eun-bin, and is now beginning principal photography. With performers who bring distinct personalities and deep acting experience, the film will explore a wide range of family-centered relationships, raising expectations for the chemistry they will create.

Yeom Jung-ah, known for her broad acting range, plays Kang Hyun-sook, a mother who has single-handedly raised three children. Hyun-sook has endured countless turning points in her life, and Yeom Jung-ah will bring her formidable acting skills to the character’s candid charm.

Park Eun-bin, who has built a reputation for her nuanced character work, plays Nam Eun-jung, Hyun-sook’s youngest daughter. After years of constant friction with her mother, Eun-jung has lost even the affection she once had for her. Park Eun-bin will give three-dimensional shape to Eun-jung’s complicated feelings toward her mother, inviting deep empathy from daughters across generations.

Wi Ha-joon plays Park Sun-woo, Eun-jung’s boyfriend, who always warmly embraces her. A widely recognized box-office draw, Wi Ha-joon has made his mark across genres, from romance to action and horror, in projects including the “Squid Game” series and the drama “Siren.” As Eun-jung’s boyfriend, he will showcase a different side through Sun-woo’s deep affection and gentle nature.

Lee Ki-taek has been cast as Nam Eun-cheol, the eldest of the three siblings. After winning a best new actor award for the drama “An Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women,” Lee Ki-taek has recently shown a warm, relatable side on the variety show “2 Days & 1 Night.” He will take on a new acting challenge as Eun-cheol, a pastor and the dependable eldest brother.

Lee Min-ji has joined the cast as Nam Eun-mi, the middle sibling, after delivering distinctive performances in a range of projects, including “Reply 1988,” “A Hundred Memories” and “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born.” She will mediate between Eun-jung and Hyun-sook, completing a realistic family dynamic.

Director Kim Dong-hoon, who is working with a strong cast on his feature directing debut, said, “Because the chemistry among the actors is so important to this project, having such good performers come together has given me confidence in the film.” Kim, whose directing skills have been recognized with two Korea Advertising Awards for deeply narrative-driven commercials, is behind the camera for 〈Nam Eun-jung〉. The film begins shooting in earnest on Sept. 3.
