Actor Kwak Si-yang and Lovelyz’s Yoo Ji-ae to wed after yearlong romance on Nov. 28

An idol and an actor find love grounded in a year of trust

Actor 'Kwak Si-yang' (39) and 'Yoo Ji-ae' (33), a former member of the group Lovelyz, are getting married. The couple will tie the knot on 'Nov. 28', beginning a new chapter in their lives together.

Kwak Si-yang’s agency, '9ato Entertainment', announced in an official statement on the 3rd that the couple had promised to spend the rest of their lives together, based on their deep trust and affection for each other. Yoo Ji-ae’s agency, 'K Plus Holdings', also confirmed that the couple was preparing for the wedding and asked fans to send their blessings.

The couple, who quietly nurtured their relationship for about 'one year', plans to hold a 'private wedding ceremony' attended only by family members, relatives and close friends from both sides. By choosing an intimate ceremony over spectacle, they are showing their steadfast faith in each other.

Kwak Si-yang began his career as a model before turning to acting with the 2014 film 'Night Flight'. He has since made a strong impression in numerous productions, including the dramas 'Oh My Ghost' and 'Flex x Cop'. He is also set to star in the KBS 2TV miniseries 'Love Beyond You', which premieres on the 12th, adding to the celebrations.

Yoo Ji-ae first appeared before the public in 2010 through 'Infinite! You Are My Oppa' before making her official debut in 2014 as a member of the girl group 'Lovelyz'. She helped lead the group’s megahits 'A-Choo' and 'Destiny'. More recently, she has strengthened her standing as an actress across television and film, appearing in works including 'The Escape of the Seven' and '4:44'.
