First Reactions: Cineplay Reporter's Rating for 〈Digger〉

First, I recommend watching it without looking anything up. 'Disaster comedy' is only a label. I can't properly discuss 〈Digger〉 without revealing what the marketing is keeping under wraps, but I hope audiences experience it fully in theaters, so please go in unspoiled. Tom Cruise didn't choose this film lightly, and director Alejandro G. Iñárritu isn't joining the wave of black comedies that have emerged since Trump's presidency without reason. Sandra Hüller and Jesse Plemons' instincts are, as always, reliable. It won't satisfy everyone, but I can say with confidence it will come as a fresh shock to everyone.
