- Kai Cenat fires back during a Sept. 30 livestream after Reggie makes explosive claims on Instagram Live - Reggie makes inflammatory disclosures about the accuser's private life and family after Kai Cenat says, "I saved your life when you were being threatened in Alaska ..." - RaKai, identified as a victim, directly denies the allegations: "I was never abused in any way as a child" - Kai Cenat says the false claims threatening his family and future children constitute "formal police complaint and civil lawsuit"

Kai Cenat, 24, one of the world's biggest streamers and content creators, has strongly denied allegations by fellow streamer Reggie that he enabled grooming and child abuse and said he would take legal action.

■ Reggie's explosive claims: "Kai Cenat knew about child abuse and looked the other way"

The uproar began when Reggie, an internet streamer, made explosive allegations against Kai Cenat during his Instagram Live broadcast, "Truth," while hurling a stream of harsh insults.

While discussing childhood trauma and abuse by his older brother, Reggie brought up another person, RaKai, and accused Cenat of being a pedophile and grooming perpetrator. "Kai Cenat knew what happened to RaKai but stood by and did nothing, and he encouraged inappropriate behavior for the sake of popularity," Reggie said.

The remarks spread rapidly across online communities, shocking fans. But RaKai, identified as the central figure in the allegations, immediately pushed back on X, formerly Twitter, and during an Instagram Live broadcast. "Not once while growing up did I experience any sexual abuse or inappropriate contact from anyone," RaKai said.

■ Kai Cenat strikes back: "I saved you in Alaska, and this is how you repay me?"

As tensions escalated, Kai Cenat addressed Reggie's claims one by one during his Sept. 30 Twitch "Just Chatting" livestream and took a hard line.

Cenat said Reggie had deliberately left out key facts that would have undermined his account of their past conflict. "Reggie made deeply offensive comments about my younger sister and behaved extremely disrespectfully toward the people around me and my family," he said.

He then raised Reggie's past encounter with a threat to his safety. "Are you really going to leave out the part about people in Alaska looking for you to kill you? Think carefully about who pulled you out of danger and saved your life back then," Cenat said, expressing a deep sense of betrayal over what he described as Reggie's ingratitude.

■ "Go to the police tomorrow": Strong criminal complaint and civil lawsuit threatened

Kai Cenat went beyond simply offering a rebuttal, warning that he would pursue severe legal consequences through law enforcement and the courts.

Addressing Reggie during the broadcast, he said: "If you have evidence, call the police and show it to them first thing tomorrow morning when you wake up. Because I am also going to report you to the police and sue you for defamation."

Cenat said he still felt sympathy for Reggie because he knew Reggie's mental state was not normal, but added, "This time, you crossed the line by a mile." He called the baseless false claims "a serious crime that threatens my family's future, the future of my children yet to be born and our financial security," explaining why he was taking aggressive legal action.

Reggie has not yet issued an additional official statement or rebuttal regarding Cenat's aggressive legal response, his threat to file a complaint or the allegations related to Alaska. As the bitter public feud between two major streamers expands into a legal battle, the internet broadcasting industry is watching closely.
