The film 〈Family Force〉 unveiled its principal cast and footage from their table read on Oct. 2. The comic-action film follows a three-generation Marine family that confronts terrorists not with firepower or intelligence, but with the strength of their family legacy, aiming to deliver both comedy and action.
According to the casting announcement, Cha Seung-won plays Cheol-doo, a former Marine sergeant major; Ra Mi-ran plays Ye-bun, Cheol-doo's wife and the family's emotional anchor; Park Hyung-sik plays Cheol-hoon, their son and a Marine sergeant nearing discharge; Baek Yoon-sik plays Cheol-sung, a war veteran and member of the first Marine Corps class who received a medal for valor; and Jang Ryul plays Tae-in, a terrorist. The warm atmosphere captured at the table read has heightened anticipation for the chemistry among the cast.
