BTS drew more than 150,000 fans over three days to its first solo concerts in Peru since debuting, generating an estimated 25.1 billion won in economic impact from tourism alone.

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, BTS held its 'ARIRANG' world tour at Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru, on the 7th and from the 9th to the 10th, all local time, performing for a total audience of about 151,500. The members, who visited Peru for the first time since their debut, said, "Your energy is incredible. I can't believe we waited this long to come to Peru."

Jimin, whose birthday is on the 13th, told fans, "I will live my life never forgetting that you are showing us so much love from the other side of the world." His heartfelt message drew an ecstatic response from the crowd.

As South American fans responded with explosive enthusiasm, major local institutions began releasing estimates of the economic impact the group would generate even before the concerts. Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism projected that more than 50,000 people would travel to the capital, Lima, for the shows and that the concerts would generate about 25.1 billion won in economic impact from tourism alone, underscoring BTS' immense influence.

After wrapping up its successful Peru concerts, BTS will keep the momentum of its South American tour going. The group will perform in Santiago, Chile, on the 14th and from the 16th to the 17th, then visit Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil, in succession to meet global fans there.
