Studio Dragon has set a new record, bringing its total to 10 dramas that have reached No. 1 globally on Netflix, propelled by the worldwide success of its drama Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia (hereafter Doctor X).

According to figures published on Netflix’s official Tudum website on the 16th, Doctor X ranked No. 1 in the non-English TV category with 4.6 million views from the 5th through the 11th. Views are calculated by dividing viewing hours by the program’s runtime. The result is an objective measure of how K-dramas’ compelling storytelling and outstanding direction have once again captivated audiences around the world.

With this achievement, Studio Dragon has scored the unprecedented feat of producing a global No. 1 hit for five consecutive years, beginning in 2022. Following mega-hits such as The Glory and Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Doctor X has also claimed the top spot, further cementing the studio’s standing as Asia’s leading content studio.
