A look at the survival story in 〈Heart of the Beast〉 showcases Brad Pitt’s dedication.

On October 19, the film 〈Heart of the Beast〉 released the featurette “The Art of Survival.” 〈Heart of the Beast〉 is a survival drama about former Army Special Forces soldier “James” (Brad Pitt) and his retired combat dog, “Odin,” who are stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash. The film reunites Pitt with director David Ayer, who helmed 〈Fury〉.

The newly released video shows Pitt and the production team bringing the film’s survival scenes vividly to life. Pitt spent three weeks living alongside the dogs playing his canine partners and building a bond with them. Survival expert Leif Swenson also joined the production on set, helping recreate the survival experience with greater realism. “The physical hardship you see is all real. You go through everything firsthand, experience it and get it done,” director David Ayer said, underscoring the authenticity of 〈Heart of the Beast〉.

〈Heart of the Beast〉 hits theaters on October 28, where it will meet South Korean audiences.
