Chinese cuisine chef Jung Ji-sun, who has gained widespread popularity through the global hit Culinary Class Wars, is temporarily suspending operations of her YouTube channel.
On the 21st, Jung Ji-sun and the production team posted a lengthy notice in the community section of the YouTube channel Jung Ji-sun’s Iron Will, which has about 160,000 subscribers, saying it would be difficult to release new videos for the time being.

Connection More Precious Than Views, and a Regretful Farewell
“We sincerely thank everyone who visited the channel and laughed along with us,” the production team said, looking back. “It was a precious space where we went beyond simply showing cooking to reveal new sides of Jung Ji-sun as a person and share our stories with one another.”
“It seems it will be difficult to release new videos on Jung Ji-sun’s Iron Will for a while,” they continued. “We plan to slow down for a bit, reflect on the time behind us in our own ways, and prepare for what lies ahead.”
The decision does not mean a definitive end. “We’re not writing this because we hope it will be our final goodbye,” the production team said, adding, “But we can’t make a hasty promise about when we’ll return, so we’re saying goodbye with honesty.”

A Chance to Recharge, a Pause Before a New Leap
Recently, Jung Ji-sun has kept an incredibly busy schedule with a variety of television appearances and running her restaurant. Interest surged especially after her appearance on Culinary Class Wars, and the resulting fatigue, along with deep consideration of the direction of future high-quality content, appears to have influenced the decision to take a break.
“More than views or numbers, we’ll remember first the moments we laughed together and the time we shared sincerely,” the production team said in closing, expressing deep affection for fans. “We hope the memories we’ve made so far will remain with us, ready to be picked up again someday.”
