〈Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai〉 are also known as the “Chinese version of 〈Romeo and Juliet〉,” but they are also the original inspiration for 〈Forbidden Love〉 (1994) starring Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Yu Wen-yi.
